  • I don’t think your hauling truck will be able to get close enough to my pond to dump the fish in. What should we do?

Let us know right away if this is a concern – we rarely run into a circumstance we cannot overcome.  But in the event we cannot get within distance to dump the fish, we will work with you to come up with an alternative pan.  We may have to carry the fish in tubs from the truck to the water in these cases.  In any case this is how we transport larger fish to the pond which will not fit through the drain pipe to go into your lake or pond.  It’s extra work but we will make it happen!

  • When my fish are delivered, how can I be sure I am getting the quantity I paid for?

It is true that when fish are piped into a pond, especially smaller fish, it may appear that the quantity is smaller than it really is.

Our company policy is to ensure customer satisfaction with all fish purchases.  To avoid inaccurate visual observations or estimates, we recommend inspecting the fish on the truck before stocking with the driver’s assistance.  Customers should contact management directly with any questions or concerns before signing the invoice and stocking the fish, as disputes cannot be resolved after this point once the fish are already in the water.  Our company is committed to resolving any issues to the satisfaction of our customers.

  • What steps do you take to ensure the quality of your fish and prevent delayed mortality?

Fish are a highly perishable product that require proper care to ensure high quality and prevent delayed mortality after being stocked. Delayed mortality is a common occurrence, especially if fish are not properly cared for, and can have a significant impact on the fish. To prevent this, we take special steps to safeguard our fish from stress. Our fish are seined from our freshwater lakes and transported to our fish holding facility where they are graded, treated, and transferred to smaller tanks on the day of the sale, or prior to loading onto our delivery truck for shipment in the case of our delivery customers.  For pickup customers, we have developed and honed our process and our Live-Pak system over the many years we have been in business to insure that your fish have the best chance of survival en route to your lake or pond.
